i’m a big planner. i lay in bed at night going over everything in my mind. i’m constantly making lists on my phone and i need my calendar spelled out for me. so, needless to say, this big change to all of our lives has been a little hard on me. don’t get me wrong; i’m not really complaining. we’re healthy. at times i’m really loving all this togetherness with my family. neither my husband or i are working the front lines. we have it pretty good.
butttttt…i now do school work every morning with my 3 boys. my workouts have become kid friendly. my husband is working from home in our doorless office. all that has left my photography just kind of frozen.
as crazy as we all have it right now, i can’t imagine going through any of this as a senior in high school. i shot so many lovely seniors last year and i’m so bummed for them not getting to experience this time in their lives. i was trying to come up with something i could do to make them smile even just a little. i came up with the idea of doing free prom sessions for them in june (or july, or august, as soon as we can)! i know most of you already got the dress or the date. so get dressed up and meet me at the park or downtown and we’ll make some pretty pictures. i’ll send you some digital files and together we will pick up the crappy cards we all got dealt and have some fun.
i’m now determined to get of my rut and i’m starting with carmen. we had so much fun at the orchard and seeing her smile in these pictures is enough to find me some motivation!
