Pazy's Portraits » modern photography for seniors, babies, kids, and families

i have been planning on using my maternity leave to highlight a few of the products i offer. i have samples of all of my products so please just ask for me to bring them to your session and it is a done-deal!

first up is the coffee table book. i love the coffee table book! you really have to see it in-person and hold it in your hands to appreciate how beautiful it is!  i artistically design your book using the images from your session. it is printed on 100# text weight, hinged semi-gloss paper. cover options include fabric, leather, or a custom printed photo cover.

yeesh! people think that just because sam’s mom is a photographer, there should be more than one picture of him on the blog so far!
i mean, come on, he is 9 days old already!!!

the truth is that i have been slacking. i would rather be holding him than editing pictures of him. luckily this afternoon my mom took jack and i decided to multitask.
i found out i can hold a sleeping baby and edit at the same time.

sam truly is a chunky monkey! i took him to the doctor today for a follow-up and he already weighs 10lbs, 8 oz. lets just say he is a great eater!

my good friend rachel, of august tea photography volunteered a while ago to photograph sam’s birth. i was a little hesitant at first (as was john) but i am now so glad i decided to have her do it! i love the moments she captured and am so grateful to her. i am pretty sure this will be something i will forever cherish!

here is the link to the slide show if you would like to check it out (just give it a minute to load first). happy birthday sam!

just please ignore my double chin and stretched-marked belly! also, if you are pregnant and unsure of whether or not to get an epidural, this may help you decide. with an epidural, you too can look as happy as me while in labor! i was laughing during contractions and even between pushes. i didn’t get an epidural with jack and was completely astonished how much different the whole experience was this time.

  • Alison Patalon - Wow – completely amazing! Will you come and do that for me when I have my next one? 🙂ReplyCancel

in case you haven’t heard…we are now the proud owners of baby boy #2…samuel robert skinner! he was born last tuesday, june 8th at 3:57pm. he weighed in at 9lbs, 9 oz and 20 inches long. we are completely smitten over him, especially jack, who is constantly wanting to love on his little brother.

like probably many second time moms, i was a little worried that i could never love another child as much as i did jack. well, the instant i saw sam, i knew i was wrong. he is absolutely perfect and such a sweetheart! i could just hold him all day long!

here he is at 4 days old!
