of course i love pictures of kids smiling and looking at the camera, but even more than that i love pictures of kids being real. those are the photos that you’ll look back and remember exactly how they were at that point in time. this cutie-pie loves to suck her thumb and brought her teddy along for the session! i love it!
i love clients that turn into good friends! i think 3 is the magic number. i start liking them more and more each session and by the 3rd session its inevitable.
happy 1st birthday aleigh! you are such a cutie! i love your two bottom teeth, how sometimes you stack your feet on top of each other when you sit, and how happy you always are (even when you skip your nap;)!
this 10 day old was so sweet and sleepy for me. (he didn’t soil a single blanket either!) i had so much fun taking photos of him and getting to know his awesome family too. here are quite a few of so many favorites.

and i have to show off dad’s handy work (he made the crib! yes, that beautiful crib that looks like it was purchased at pottery barn!) and also mom’s amazing decorating!
