Pazy's Portraits » modern photography for seniors, babies, kids, and families

i promised i’d put together an outfit for a senior guy. i love the laid back, but still put-together, look going on here. notice there is no writing on the shirt (something i always suggest avoiding).

next i’ll try something a little dressier for the guys!

here’s another outfit suggestion for a senior girl. i love the yellow with the pops of blue!

i will admit it, i use to be one of those people that think an 8×10 is HUGE! i couldn’t imagine wanting to hang anything bigger than that on my walls. then two things happened that changed my mind:

1. i became a mom and realized that i have no problem seeing larger than life size images of my babies on my walls.
2. i saw for myself how much better larger prints really look!

still not convinced? let me show you. this was my very own (not some model) fireplace some time ago.

those are three 8×10’s with two 5x5s in between. they don’t look bad, but i wouldn’t say they look spectacular either. in fact, sitting on the couch across the room, the display almost just blends in.

now this is how my fireplace currently looks:

a little more impressive, right? this is three 16x20s and one 24×20 gallery wrapped canvas. everyone that enters my house comments on this display. i never got any comments on the old display (and i don’t think it is just because my boys keep getting cuter and cuter either;)!

i guess this just goes to show that bigger really is better!

i don’t get to see too many 3 month olds. i usually do newborn sessions and then i don’t see the baby again until 6 months. this cutie changed so much since her newborn session that mom wanted to do a 3-month mini-session to capture how she is right now.

PINIMAGEwe pulled out all the tricks to try to get a big smile, but this was all she was going to give us!

thanks for all the hard-work, rebecca and john. i can’t wait to see how big she is at 6 months!
