this one year old really took it easy on me. he was a dream to photograph! when i got there he was still in his diaper so i snapped a few inside before he got dressed.

what an awesome weekend it was that, of course, went by way too fast. now all we are left with is a sore back (from way too much yard work) and a bunch of mosquito bites. here’s a little something to remind you of sunnier days!

mom told me that she wanted something that wasn’t your typical baby session for vincent’s first birthday. we met up at the studio in detroit and did most of the session outside there. it’s definitely not your typical one-year session, but different is usually good and in this case, i say different is awesome!

i really thought i posted this last night but i guess i never hit the “publish” button. i hope all the moms out there had a wonderful mother’s day! i had a perfect day with my boys.
we surprised my mom with a huge framed print of this picture:PINIMAGEit had to be huge to make sure you could see all 16 of her beautiful grandkids!
