i can’t believe she’s already 6 months! i know it’s cliche, but really, where does the time go!?!
when i got there nadine was catching up on her beauty sleep. dad woke her up and we got right down to business in her adorable bedroom!

we had to incorporate the famous rug from her newborn session!
then i just had to use this awesome afghan blanket that was knit just for her!
PINIMAGEnext we went out in front of nadine’s house to take advantage of the gorgeous sunlight.
PINIMAGEnadine’s morning ended with a stroll in downtown royal oak and a visit to starbucks! nadine passed on the coffee but loved watching the cars go by!

whew! just looking at these pictures i get tired all over again. i don’t think i’ve had a more action-packed session! mom, dad, and i were all exhausted by the end! not brooke though, she just kept going!
brooke was my second official newborn session back when i was just starting out and since then i did her 6-month, 1 year, and now two year session! i love watching her grow from year to year and can’t believe she’s already 2! although if she gets any faster i may have to commission out her 3 year session! 😉
i got an email last week from lisa asking if i would be available to do a session for her and her soon-to-be husband right after their wedding. they had planned on eloping and then changed their minds and planned a quick wedding here on grosse ile. they didn’t have a wedding photographer but really wanted to capture some first photos of the two of them as husband and wife. i’m so glad i was able to make this happen for them!
