i’ve decided that i love photographing senior girls! it’s like hanging out with a girlfriend for a few hours, chatting, trying on clothes, talking about hair, doing funny things, and i just happen to bring along my camera.
i had so much fun with jenn this week. she is really pretty and she has awesome hair and really kickin’ style.

does anybody see a resemblance to dj from full house? as i was editing these i kept thinking it and then i asked my sister and she agreed.

for the record, i just just want to throw out there, that you don’t have to be gorgeous for me to photograph you! i have been asked before if i pay pretty people to let me take their picture, and the answer is no. they come to me all on their own!
my long list of beautiful senior girls goes on and on and on! the amazing thing is that they have all been so sweet and fun to work with, and kathy is definitely no exception! (they also make me look really good at my job!)

i hope everybody is excited about this last one as i was (am!). i have looked at it about 50 100 times now! ha!
i am taking a break from all these seniors to document sophia turning 1!
at just a few days old, sophia is the first person other than jack that i attempted to photograph. (click here to see) we have both come a long way in the past year, right, sophia?
and here she is at 6 months. it’s amazing how fast they grow!
and now on to her 1 year photos. i couldn’t decide if i like this first one better in color or black and white. what do you think?

Amazing, simply amazing. I absolutely love the black and white photographs although the coloring in others is brilliant. I especialy like the one where she has icing on her lips. I also love the one where she picked something from the cake, it looks as if she might be meditating (maybe about the next thing she can grap off of the cake).
